This could happen for a few reasons:
1. The task or check-in hasn't started yet
Emails regarding tasks and check-ins go out on their start date. To validate if the task or check-in start date is correct, log in to the platform and navigate to the new hire's Calendar page. There you can find all the tasks and check-ins that are assigned to the members of the team supporting your new hire's workflow (see below).
Step 1: Select the week where you thought the activity was scheduled to start. You can actually see a two week period at a time.
Step 2: We recommend you filter the calendar using the following:
- Type: Task
- Category: All
- Status: All
- Role: Select the role for the user you are looking for. For example, Buddy, Hire, Co-worker etc.
Step 3: In the list view below you will see all the activities assigned to that user broken up by calendar date. If the activity you are looking for is there, you can click on it to expand the detail view and see when the task was scheduled to start. If correct, then perhaps a reason below will resolve the issue.
If the start date is incorrect then click on the edit icon to edit the activity. It's the round icon with the pencil shape.
This will open the task up in Edit mode where you can simply change the start and due dates.
2. Is the Email Address for the Co-worker correct?
Follow the steps in the section above to find the activity in question. Click on the edit icon to edit the activity. Its the round icon with the pencil shape.
Within Edit mode you will see the assigned recipient's name. Click on the field to surface the recipient's full name and email address. If correct, then great. If incorrect, then simply type in the correct email address and add the recipient's first and last name to the task. Don't forget to save your changes.
3. Spam Folder?
It's always possible the email went to the recipient's spam folder. Be sure to have the intended recipient check their spam folder and mark the email as 'not junk.'
4. None of the above?
Please click the "Feedback" button on the right side of the page and send us a comment outlining the issue. Please include as much detail as possible including the name and email address of the intended recipient and when the task should start. We will review the issue and respond back with further options or remediations.
