Templates are used within the platform to orchestrate the delivery of content. Think of a template like an intelligent workflow that defines the right question or task to be delivered and scheduled at the right time for any of the team members in support of the new hire. In some cases card may look like duplicates of each other but in reality they are the same questions being asked of different people within the team. NOTE: Support tasks are not viewable within the template. The platform automatically triggers out the best support task based on the unique requirements of each hire.
Templates are only available for users with Supervisor level access within the platform. Within the Template section, you can review existing Templates, create new templates and modify existing templates.
Let's have a look at a typical template (see below). Each card reflects a task or check-in question delivered to the hire, manager, mentor or other team member on a specific date after the new hire start date. In the Pre-boarding section, tasks and check-in questions can actually be assigned in advance of the new hire's start date to ensure systems and people are ready to greet the new hire on Day 1.
The blue text are hyperlinks while the blue ovals reflect user tokens that can be added and modified within each card. When you edit a template, we provide a fully functioning WYSIWYG editor to enable you to customize the card with full HTML. Tokens are used to customize the content for each specific user when delivered. For example, the Hire First Name token is replaced with the new hire's first name when the task is delivered. Bob sees "Bob" while Mary will see "Mary".
